These BenchPro benches are constructed of 2" x 2", 16 gauge tubular steel legs and a 1" x 2", 16 gauge steel apron. These benches can withstand loads of up to 1,000 pounds of evenly distributed weight, making BenchPro workbenches some of the strongest, most reliable benches on the market today.
The surface of BenchPro butcher block workbenches are constructed of 1¾" strips of maple hardwood. These benches do not have a particle board center, but are solid maple throughout.
To prevent warpage or splitting, wood used for BenchPro tables is died in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before being cut into strips and glued edge-to-edge. The hardwood strips vary in width, so that some strips are single and some are double-wide, this gives the tops added strength while reducing the possibility of the top splitting along its seams. BenchPro's butcher block tables have an oiled finish which is generally best for production and high-use areas, as they can be resurfaced easily and minor damage does not affect the apperance.
The A-Series programmable electric workstations come with a switch installed in the table apron, this can be programmed to three separate table heights. These tables have an adjustment range of 12", from 30" to a maximum height of 42". By choosing an adjustable height table, it's easy to change your workstation for different shifts and multiple users, or adjust a station for different projects and tasks.
BenchPro workbenches are some of the easiest benches to assemble! The top and apron is factory assembled and welded for stability and ease, and the legs bolt to the worksurface with two bolts each. Accessory uprights can be added and shelves and other upright accessories lock quickly into the uprights.
BenchPro also offers custom paint colors, along with their standard options. Standard color options are free of charge, while custom color options will add an additional $90 for frame colors.
