CONSTIX® SF-5 sealed foam swab consists of a polyurethane foam bonded to a flex-tip polypropylene handle without the use of adhesives or binders. The polyurethane foam head provides good particle entrapment and removal. The absorbent foam enables solvents, such as isopropanol and ethanol, to be readily sorbed for applications involving solvent delivery or removal. The SF-5 swab is excellent for applying resins and adhesives.

Details

The flexible swab head tip provides good surface contact and controlled pressure to surfaces. Though compatible with many common solvents, the SF-5 swabs feature open-cell polyurethane foam that is soft, yet strong, for a variety of applications. Contec's CONSTIX SF Series sealed foam swabs have 100 PPI reticulated polyurethane foam heads except where noted for strength and abrasion resistance. Open-cell foam is excellent for particle entrapment and retention, making these swabs ideal for applying lubricants and removing excess materials. Compatible with Isopropyl Alcohol.
