Glove box chamber with controller.

These ready to use glove box chambers are designed to provide accurate measurement and precise control of enclosed environments. You can also retrofit existing chambers with controllers and operating systems.

Ideal to be used in electrostatics, electronics manufacturing, petrochemical, packaging, pharmaceutical, plastic, biomedical and university research or in any other application that requires precise measurement and/or control of relative humidity and temperature.

Chambers

Three standard sizes available: 3.75, 9.0 and 13.0 cu. ft. (106, 255 & 368 L). All boxes are fabricated using PS30, welded seam construction for strength, visibility and years of dependable service.

Mini-Environments
Dimensions: 3.75 cu. ft. (106 L), 24"W x 18"D x 15"H
Get excellent visibility from all sides with the clear acrylic construction. Includes: gasket-sealed door with 12" x 12" opening and 3/4 turn latch, five access ports for operating systems, sensor, monitors, cables, etc. Options include ON/OFF and PID Controls, Humidification, Dehumidification (dry nitrogen, desiccant, house air), Heating and Cooling. Order with or without 6" glove ports.

Standard Environments
Dimensions: 9 cu. ft. (255 L), 36"W x 24"D x 18"H
This general purpose environments is ideal for benchtop use in laboratories or production. Large enough to accommodate testing, fabrication or storage of materials, test equipment and assemblies while fitting onto a standard workbench. Clear and white acrylic construction for excellent internal visibility. Includes gasket-sealed door with 12" x 12" opening and 3/4-turn latch and five access ports. Options include Microprocessor (PID) Controllers, Humidification, Dehumidification, Heating and Cooling.

Large Environments
Dimensions: 13 cu. ft. (368 L), 54"W x 25.5"D x 22"H
These environments are fabricated our of clear and white acrylic, that feature built-in controls and state-of-the-art operating systems. They are designed to accommodate equipment and material for applications requiring a large internal work area, stability, versatility and excellent visibility. Ideal applications include ESD Testing, Automotive, Military, EPA (filter weighting), Biomedical, Pharmaceutical and University Research. Additional features include Equipment and Sample Doors, Single (5518) and Multiple (5532) Ramp Microprocessor (PID) Controllers, Software, Built-in Humidification, Dehumidification, Heating and Cooling Systems. Order with or without 8" glove ports.

Custom Gloveboxes and Environmental Chambers
We can design up to a 125 cu. ft. custom environment to fit your storage, testing, weight and fabrication requirements. Incorporate iris ports, single or multiple doors, computer/bulkhead fittings etc. Use an antechamber, door, removable side panel or lift-off-from-base design for access. Available in standard or ESD Acrylic for low charging application. Electro-Tech Systems Chambers are available with CE certification.

Controllers

These controllers offer humidity, temperature and third parameter control. Dual-function controls both humidity and temperature, offering the best combination of features at an affordable price point. Our latest generation of Microprocessor PID controllers offer precision and accuracy and can be used with or without software. All controllers include a sensor. We also provide controllers to monitor and/or control third parameters such as pressure and oxygen. The operational range of the controller and sensor is not necessarily the same as the operational range of the chamber and operating systems. For example, a controller specification may state it can operate from 0-100% RH and from 0-100°C. This means that this controller has the ability to perform over this range. The chamber and operating systems will have different ranges. These acrylic chambers are rated from 0 to 55°C and each operating system has its own specific performance range.

Operating Systems

These operating systems are designed for generation of humidity, dehumidification, heating and cooling. Use these systems individually or in combination to precisely maintain a variety of environmental conditions when interfaced with a controller. Purchase individual chambers to be designed into a system or upgrade your existing environment.
