Work Surface Features
Standard BUILT RIGHT work surfaces are constructed of 1.25" thick, #45 industrial grade particle board, and wrapped in 0.030" Formica® laminate. The particle board interior is sealed on all sides to prevent warping, with the bottom surface covered in an aluminum sheet. Please note that these benches are water-resistant, but not considered "water-proof". If your work bench will be exposed to water or constant spills, please consider stainless steel or phenolic resin work surface options.
Easy Assembly
BUILT RIGHT workbenches assemble easily in minutes. The top and apron are factory assembled and welded for stability, and the legs bolt to the worksurface with one strong bolt per leg. Hundreds of optional accessories can be utilized by attaching uprights to your work bench.
1. Place your new workbench on top of a table with the cardboard seam facing up. Open the carton. Do not remove the cardboard yet - this prevents the work surface from scratching.
2. Position the legs. If you have a lot of benches to assemble, we recommend two man teams. If you have ESD benches, make certain the wrist strap jack is on the front side of the leg.
3. Insert one screw with lock washer into each leg.
4. Tighten until lock washer is flat. It doesn't have to be tighter than that.
5. Assembly any accessories. When you're done, you can turn the bench over. For your safety, we recommend two people. Please recycle the cardboard.
