Isopropyl Alcohol

Different solutions, purity grades, and concentrations yield beneficial cleaning and disinfection properties when applied correctly. We offer a broad range of alcohol that meets essential requirements for quality, potency, consistency, and purity in food service and production, biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturing.

70% pure isopropyl alcohol is used for disinfecting tools, service areas, and equipment in critical environments. Less flammable than 99% IPA concentrations, it holds 30% moisture content which yields less vapor and removes stubborn residue without becoming overly dry. 70% isopropyl alcohol solution kills most surface microorganisms, and is effective against most bacteria, fungi and some viruses.

99% pure isopropyl alcohol cleans delicate electronics and circuit boards with rapid evaporation and minimal residue. Low water content aids cleaning by minimizing exposure to corrosive elements. 99% IPA is ineffective for desterilization because instant coagulation preserves microbes in a dormant stage.

Acetone

Acetone is a common degreaser, solvent, and denaturant for pharmaceuticals, soldering, and reflow of printed circuit boards (PCBs). It is a common for post-processing 3D printed parts when vapor smoothing, cold welding, and paint preparation. Acetone dissolves layer lines and improves paint adhesion with minimal sanding. The overall result is an increase in surface detail without the loss of delicate or subtle features. Cold welding adheres 3D printed parts without adhesive or sanding by applying a thin layer of solvent. For PLA parts, acetone generates a sufficient bond for mock prototypes or reconnecting pieces that broke off post-print.

Ethanol

Ethanol is a multifaceted solvent that mixes without separation in water and other organic solvents including acetic acid, acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, diethyl ether, ethylene glycol, glycerol, nitromethane, pyridine, and toluene.

We offer both grain and synthetic grades of alcohol products. Various alcohols, even when the the molecule is identical, present unique contamination challenges depending on the use. One contaminant might be problematic for some tasks, yet inert for others. A feasible and cost effective solution accounts for availability, quantity discounts, hazardous transport, and state taxes. We help you meet the specific needs of your application and outline a precise alcohol grade to meet your needs.
