Oval tips provide a consistent flat-ribbon deposit. Made from the same material as our standard general purpose stainless steel tips, Optimum oval tips are precisely manufactured to make high-flow, high-viscosity dispensing easier. The unique SafetyLok™ hub thread ensures secure attachment to the syringe barrel. Each hub is designed with flush mating of the hub to the cutoff for smooth fluid flow and to prevent trapped air, which causes dripping and drooling.
Each hub is also manufactured and quality-tested to be free of molding flash - bits of plastic that can block fluid flow and cause inconsistent deposits. Burr-free, polished passivated stainless steel tubing ensures consistent, repeatable fluid deposits.
