MAC 10® LEDC USP 797 Compounding Fan Filter Units

The MAC 10® LEDC is a versatile, smart-enabled HEPA fan filter unit for USP 797 cleanrooms or sterile laboratories. A universal control card offers network speed control (MODBUS RTU), manual speed control (On-board Potentiometer), or analog speed control (Remote 0-10V). Automated controls reduce fan filter speed, expedite HVAC balancing, reduce filter speed during downtime, and modulate FFU groups or production units.

An Electronically Commutated (EC) brushless motor and internal microprocessor ensure a quiet noise floor (52 dBA) with a rapid control response. A proprietary baffling system and backward curved fan deliver long motor life and LEED compliance with energy consumption as low as 90W @ 90FPM.

Backward-curved impellers maintain better static efficiency, flexible installation, and non-overloading performance. When the electrical power input (W) reaches its peak production point, the fan is also operating at its quietest possible decibel output. Backward curved impellers have the greatest static efficiency of any fan type and virtually no stall point. The design caters to higher pressure applications without the unmistakable low-frequency rumble caused by standard fans at operational pressures.

The LEDC features a 250 lb. walkable plenum and washable pre-filter for easier maintenance and less service downtime. Upgrade to a room-side-replaceable-filter (RSR) or room-side-replaceable-assembly (RSRE) and you'll avoid tearing apart your cleanroom for fan filter or motor changeouts.
