ANSI/ASTM D178-01 Type II, Class 2
ANSI/ASTM D178-01: Type II, Class 2 Mats have a recommended maximum use voltage of 17,000 VAC. Type II specifies that mats are manufactured using a properly vulcanized elastomer with ozone-, flame-, and oil-resistance. All Class 2 mats meet Class 1 standards. Learn more.
ANSI/ASTM D178-01 Type II, Class 3
ANSI/ASTM D178-01: Type II, Class 3 is a higher class, which indicates a higher dielectric strength. ASTM D178-01 Class 3 mats have a recommended maximum use voltage of 26,500 VAC. Learn more.
MIL-15562-G Type I
Military Switchboard specs were approved by the Department of the Navy and Department of Defense. Mats meeting Military Spec 15562-G Type I have a max. recommended voltage of up to 7,500 VAC, and are designed for permanent installation.
